Gifts For Campers

Trying to find the perfect gift for someone can be such a time consuming ordeal.  I have put a list together of ideas for that camper in your life.  Hopefully the list will help you in your quest to find the perfect gift.

National Park Passes

The cost of an annual National Park Pass is $80.  This is a great bargain for families who like to travel to different parks.  The pass is for one adult and up to three additional adults over the age of 16 per standard vehicle.  Kids, 15 and under are free.  To purchase the pass or to read about the features of the pass click here.  This is also a great idea for Seniors as a lifetime pass is currently $80 as well. The pass can be used at National Parks as well as Federal Recreational Parks.  A complete list of parks can be found here.

Travel Map

A great way to track their adventures to the National Parks is a map by Map Your Travels.  This beautiful,  unique map has National Parks located on it and comes with pins to mark their travels.  It can also be personalized for that added touch.  You can find it here.

Travel Telescope

Another great idea, especially as a family gift, would be a travel telescope.  This would be a fantastic way to view the stars at night.  It is also compact and wouldn’t take up much space in a camper. You can find it here.

Ring Toss

We bought this game for our kids when we first purchased our camper.  It has been played on every campout.  It’s simple to set up and breaks down for easy storage. It’s a great family game. You can find it here.

Nesting Bowls

I put these bowls on my camping wish list on Amazon and featured them in a previous blog post; The Best Finds For Your Camper/RV on Amazon.  I finally purchased them and absolutely love them.  The bowls would make a fabulous gift for any camper. You can find them here.

Fan Fort

This would be another cool gift for any kid that loves to pretend camp or just wants their own personal space.  I remember making forts out of sheets and a fan as a kid, but this takes it to another level.  Santa brought this to my youngest last Christmas.  He loved it!  But be warned, it takes up a lot of space.  This fort is huge.  You can find it here.

Makeup Bag

Every girl that loves to camp would love to have this makeup bag to take with them.  It would be great to store the essentials on any camping trip. You can find this adorable bag here.

Roasting Sticks

Roasting sticks would make a terrific gift especially if you paired it with a S’more kit.  This is yet another great idea for a family gift or a couples gift. You can find these cute roasting sticks here.

Journal

A travel journal would be a brilliant way to keep track of campsites that campers have visited.  It’s small enough to keep in the camper and doesn’t require batteries.  You can find it here.

Blanket

A cozy blanket for a chilly night around the campfire would make a fabulous gift.  This adorable blanket would be a great gift to any camper on your list.  You can find it here.

I love these adorable melamine plates.  They look like paper plates, but surprise they are reusable. These would also make a great gift. You can find them here.

Fire Pit

We have been to a couple of campgrounds that did not have fire pits, but allowed them if you brought one in.  This would be a great idea for a gift for any camper that likes to sit by the campfire or to cook over an open flame. You can find it here.

Fire Pit

Camping Bucket

I have seen these types of bucket lights at so many campgrounds.  This such a cool idea .  At most campgrounds you will have pole with a hook for a light to hang on and this light would be perfect for that.  This would be awesome gift for any camper to brighten their campsite.  You can learn how to make one here.
