Table Rock State Park, South Carolina
Table Rock State Park located in Pickens, South Carolina was one of the most beautiful parks we have ever camped in. The views throughout the park were breathtaking. This was such a great escape from the madness of the world. I thought long and hard about going on this trip with my family. I did not want to contribute to the spread of COVID-19 or expose my family. We planned our trip carefully to limit contact with others. So with trepidation last week we loaded up the camper and brought our Lysol as ventured to the mountains of South Carolina. Camping is the ultimate social distancing activity. We kept to…

Crooked River State Park, Georgia

It was fairly easy to find and is a great location to the beaches. Camping The campsites were a bit small, but offered some privacy will foliage between each site. Indian Springs State Park
While camping at High Falls State Park in Georgia a couple of weeks ago we visited another Georgia state park just a few miles away. Indian Springs State Park was an interesting park to explore. History Indian Springs State Park is rich in history and natural beauty. The Creek Indians once used the springs for healing the sick. It was an important site to the Creek and held great significance to them. The state of Georgia took over the land from the Indians in the 1820’s and it became a growing tourist destination. The mineral rich spring water helped attract people to the area and allow the area to grow.…
