Dutch Oven Sweet Potato Casserole
According to my husband it’s not Thanksgiving unless his Mom’s Sweet Potato Casserole is served. This is one of his favorite dishes that his Mom makes, so I thought I would give it a try, in a Dutch Oven. This is such an easy recipe, there is no way I could mess it up. I course I can, and did! We had a fantastic time on our last campout at Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont, Florida. This was such a beautiful, peaceful park to camp, but it was so hot. I’m not sure why I decided to make Dutch Oven Cajun Pasta when the temperature was in the 90’s. My youngest son received his Cub Scout popcorn sheet a few weeks ago. As I was looking at the prizes he could earn for selling popcorn, I noticed a gadget called a Wolf’em Stick. I wasn’t for sure what it was, but I knew I needed it. I also knew he wasn’t going to sell $450 worth of popcorn to earn it, so I bought it on Amazon to try out. Summer Sunset Slushies – Adult Freeze Pops
A great way to beat the heat of summer with family and friends are Sunset Summer Slushies, Adult Freeze Pops. My sister and I made these on a hot day in July. They were so much fun to make. We loved coming up with different combinations to experiment with, it felt like we were in a science lab. Dutch Oven Pizza
On our recent camping trip to Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park we successfully made Dutch Oven Pizza. My oldest son had told us last year how easy it was to make, he learned to make it while working on his cooking merit badge in scouts. Turns out it is easy to make with pre-made ingredients and a little prep work. Ingredients Favorite toppings aside, the main ingredients are pre-made dough, pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. We purchased our dough at the Publix bakery.
