A Memorable Weekend at Big Lagoon State Park
Have a memorable weekend at Big Lagoon State Park, Pensacola, Florida, and explore the 704 acres of natural beauty that make up the park. This beautiful park is perfect for those looking for a quiet campground near Perdido Key and the white sandy beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. Campsites The campsites at Big Lagoon were spacious for our little camper but might be a tight squeeze for others. We had plenty of room at site #69 and a quiet neighbor that we didn’t notice until the day we left. All campsites come with a picnic table, fire ring, water and electric. Sewer hookups did not seem to be available,…

Hiking at Trout Lake, One of Florida’s Hidden Gems
Spend the day hiking and exploring one of Central Florida’s hidden gems, Trout Lake Nature Center located in Eustis. We have been to Trout Lake many times with our kids for school trips, scouting events and day trips. This is a hands on Nature Center with many kid friendly activities.
