Awesome, But Still Comfortable, Camping Clothing for Women

Finding the perfect clothing options to pack for a weekend of camping can be a pain. You need clothing that will move with you. This guide will help you find the clothes that are functional, yet comfortable for any type of camping you do.

Women’s Camping Hat

This is my favorite camping, beach, kayaking and hiking hat. I wear it everywhere. It is the perfect hat for women that have longer hair because of the pony tail criss cross slots in the back keep your hair under control. This hat will keep you cool and comfortable while exploring the outdoors. I featured this hat in a previous post, My Favorite Camping Items Found on Etsy because I love it that much! Camping Tees

T-shirts are my camping staple. They are comfortable and low maintenance, perfect for camping. I like ones that are roomy and soft.

I just bought this T-shirt off of Amazon. I really like it. It is so comfortable, and relaxed in its fit. The only thing that really bugs me though is the compass. I noticed when I put it on, it says WN, when I believe it should be NW. My Boy Scout says I’m right, it should be North West. It’s still an awesome shirt and fits amazing. I ordered the medium. Women’s Camping Hoodies

This hoodie from Paka Apparel is on my wish list. It looks like the most comfortable, softest hoodie around. It would be perfect for fall and winter camping in Florida because it it lightweight, according to all the reviews I have read. You can find the hoodie here. I do have a couple of Paka Apparel items and I can attest to their softness, and amazing quality.

I love my Under Armour hoodies and alway take them camping when I know it’s going to be cool. They never disappoint. You can find them here.

Flannels

I always bring a soft flannel for camping in the fall. It’s perfect to just throw over a t-shirt when it starts to get cool at night. You can find this one above here.

Camping Pants

I always pack my trusty jean shorts, and jeans when I go camping, but I recently found these hiking pants that I thought I would try out. We have a couple of fall/winter campouts coming up and I am going to put them to the test.

I will admit when I first tried them on I had flashbacks of my sister’s parachute pants from the 80’s and wasn’t too impressed. Although she rocked her pants, I wasn’t too sure how these particular pants were going fit on me. I really liked them. They are comfortable and roomy. I can also adjust the length of the legs, I am a bit petite. I did purchased the medium. You can find them here and try them out for yourself.

Camping Shorts

Living in Florida, I am always on the lookout for comfortable shorts to wear camping. Jean shorts are alright around the campsite, but if you wish to take a short hike, a good pair of water repellant shorts should be added to your list. Check out these from Little Donkey Andy here.

Camping Shoes

One of my favorite brands of shoes is Blow Fish. They are so comfortable and perfect for the campground. They are so easy to slip on and off when entering and exiting the camper. That is why I always take them camping. You can find them here.

They are not the best for hiking though. My hiking shoes are from North Face. I got a very good deal on them a few years back, and they have held up to some pretty rough hikes up mountains. I am really impressed with them. They are comfortable and do not hurt my feet. Although my shoes are discontinued, you can find a similar pair here.
