How to Create a S’more Charcuterie Board

On a quick trip home to the midwest, we enjoyed the cool nights that are perfect for a fire pit. A s’more charcuterie board is a fabulous way to make sure everyone creates their own ideal s’more.

Make sure to purchase the basics of a s’more then change things up a bit with different ingredients to give your guest more choices. My son loved his s’more with a cookies and cream candy bar instead of plain chocolate. The fun is coming up with different delicious creations.

  • Roasting Marshmallows (get at least two different types)
  • Mini Candy Bars (three different types)
  • Graham Crackers
  • Pre-packaged Chocolate Chip Cookies (or another type of cookie)

S’more Dip

Add a simple dip for those that prefer not to make a s’more. This dip only has three ingredients and is a snap to make.

  • Marshmallow Cream, 13oz Jar
  • Cream Cheese, 8oz Block
  • Mini Chocolate Chips, 1/4 cup

Mix the first two ingredients together in a mixer until smooth. Next add about 1/4 cup of the mini chocolate chips or as many as you prefer.

Next pour into a small bowl and refrigerate until you are ready to assembly your s’more charcuterie board.

Make sure to purchase animal crackers and long cream filled wafer cookies to use with the dip.

The Charcuterie Board

Now find your favorite large cutting board or purchase a charcuterie board. Next find a small bowl to put the animal crackers or other small cookies in. Layering another board and bowls on top will add a bit more space and interest to your board.

Once you know how to arrange your board add your ingredients. Playing around with the placement until it looks perfect to you. There is no wrong way to make a s’more charcuterie board. Just use your imagination.

Fall Fire Pit

A great way to enjoy your s’more charcuterie board is to invite friends and family to an outdoor fall fire pit. A beautiful way to embrace fall.

One helpful hint, if it’s a bit warm, place ice cubes in a slightly bigger bowl than your s’more dip bowl then place the s’more dip bowl on top of it. This will keep the dip cool.

Don’t forget the roasting sticks! A great idea is to find the roasting sticks with different colored handles, so everyone knows which one is theirs for the night.

Enjoy the crisp fall nights with a fire pit and s’more charcuterie board. We sure did before our trip back to Florida. It was such a welcome relief from the heat, but it was the company of family that really made it special.
