Silver Springs State Park Silver Springs has been a popular tourist destination since the 1820’s. People have been drawn to this area because of the crystal clear waters and abundant wildlife. Camping at Huguenot Memorial Park
We spent the weekend camping at Huguenot Memorial Park, a city campground in Jacksonville, Florida. This was the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of nature, passing ships and relaxing on a white sanded beach. Campsites The campsites at Huguenot are close together, but it didn’t feel crowded to us. We had a corner spot, #43, that was located near the road to the beach. The roadway can be busy with vehicles at times, but traffic stops a 7 at night when the beach closes to vehicles. The campsites have electric hookups, which is fantastic for running your air conditioner in the camper. There are no water hook ups. We…
