    Pop Rock’n Popcorn

We are packing up and getting ready for our next camping adventure. I thought it would be a great time to practice my sister Stacie’s popcorn recipe, Pop Rock’n Popcorn, for our camping snack this weekend. I plan on making this for our 4th of July Blowout Party when I head back home next month. Pop Rock’n Popcorn is a fantastic snack for the 4th of July or a camping weekend. The sweet taste combined with the surprise pop bursting in your mouth is great for watching fireworks or sitting by a crackling fire at night. 5 Things to Take on a Nighttime Kayak Tour

Our family had an amazing adventure last night. We experienced a bioluminescence tour at the Merritt Island National Refuge in Florida. Bioluminescence is the creation of light by a living organism and the release of this light. During the months of May-October in Florida you can experience this amazing phenomenon. I highly recommend Get Up And Go Kayaking tour company. Our guide Penny was absolutely amazing and informative. She kept track of all…

After a quick look in our garage this morning to find supplies, I realized I didn’t have any of it in the garage. So I came up with my own bubble wand using what I had on hand. I made a very Rustic Bubble Wand using the simple materials I had. To the surprise of me…

    Hiking Ravine Gardens

It was a beautiful day to be outside in Florida yesterday. We took the opportunity to take a day trip and explore Ravine Gardens State Park. This is a unique park to hike especially if you want a bit of a challenge. Ravine The ravine in Ravine Gardens was naturally made by the  Whitewater Branch spring that eventually drains into the St. Johns River. This spring-fed creek formed the ravine over thousands of years. It is a marvel to look at and explore. Azalea Trail Hiking the Ravine Gardens was a challenge for us. We are not avid hikers by any means so hiking the Azalea Trail was a workout,…
